Nationwide, local groups of members come together regularly for social, educational and volunteer activities. Participation is not required. However, many members choose to get involved in their area.
Modern Woodmen’s Wild About Animals initiative celebrated the important role animals play in our lives and environment – from supporting mental and physical health to providing community service. Nationwide in 2024, members held nearly 1,600 activities to show love to animals ... and help humans in the process. Learn more.
Members can enjoy opportunities to meet other local members, build relationships and impact communities. Modern Woodmen activities offer time to bond with family and friends.
But these activities aren’t the only extras of Modern Woodmen membership. Members have access to a variety of other programs that meet needs during different ages and life stages.
These local groups of Modern Woodmen members come together regularly for social, educational and volunteer activities. Chapter activities are experiences, not sales events, and are open to members of all ages. Members 55 and older can also participate in Summit chapters – special groups targeted to the interests of this age group.
These groups help Modern Woodmen kids make an impact close to home. Club members form lifelong friendships with other Modern Woodmen members in their area while helping their schools, neighborhoods and favorite causes.
Money & Me℠ is a financial literacy program that introduces students in kindergarten through eighth grade to important money concepts while giving back to local schools and educators.
Modern Woodmen representatives can donate this financial education program to local educators to help students build money skills.
